10 “(1)When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul; 

            (1)Proverbs 14:33, 22:18

11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding (2)shall keep thee:

12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward [perverse] things;

13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to (3)walk in the ways of darkness;

14 (4)Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness [perversity] of the wicked;

16 To deliver thee from (6)the strange [immoral] woman, (7)even from the stranger [adulteress] which flattereth with her words;

17 Which (8)forsaketh the (9)guide [companion, partner] of her youth, and forgetteth the (10)covenant of her God.

18 For (11)her house inclineth [sinks/leads down] unto death, and her paths unto the dead.
